Florida Quilt Network - Newsletter #238
www.FloridaQuiltNetwork.com
August 2, 2018

Quilting Friends,

Using the leftovers from my Norway quilt, I was able to make a few more quilts.  I’ll post the last of the 3 next month. This is “Donuts” and it’s from the book “No Scrap Left Behind” by Amanda Jean Nyberg.

Last month I had an announcement for helping 4H kids learn to sew.  With the school year cranking up, I have another announcement:

Announcement:  The Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida is looking for someone to teach kids to sew a karate belt.  This is a PAID position ($30-$40 per hour), they pay for all the materials and they have new Brother sewing machines.  The hours are Mon-Thurs 3-6pm. Eight weeks at each location, there are 4 locations.  If this is something you’d be interested in doing, call or email Niketra Johnson at 407-252-6560 or njohnson@bgccf.org

If you’re a fairly new reader of this newsletter, you may not know that the Calendar page on the website is a quick way to view upcoming events all over the state.  Give it a look-see.
Happy Quilting,
      Mary-Jeanine
PS: I’d love to hear from you, so drop me a line sometime.
