I have been long arming since 2017 and do extensive charity work quilting tops for Quilts of Valor, Project Linus, Advent Health NICU and Hospice House. I take in a limited clientele to help fund my charity work and am located in Minneola/Lake County.
I use computerized designs via ProStitcher and can long arm up to queen size tops. I have a variety of designs and thread colors to choose from but will order if you need something different (at my expense). Currently, I have a 2-3 day turn around depending on the size/scope of the job. Clients are responsible for providing the completed top along with batting and backing which is to be 10"longer and wider than the top to allow room for mounting on the long arm. If preferred, I will trim the completed top and return all scrap batting/backing pieces to you. (I can provide batting charging according to size of quilt.)
I price according to the design chosen.....simple meandering designs start at .015/sq in; medium detail is .018/sq in; and more dense detail would be .02/sq in. As an example, a top measuring 72x90 would be between $97 and $130 depending on design chosen. Also, I do provide binding services by machine (not by hand) which runs between $20-$40 depending on the size of the quilt. APQS Sales Service Training

I offer longarm quilting services, as well as batting, backings, and custom quilts. In addition, we offer finishing services such as binding, repair and finishings of UFO's. Quilting is performed using an APQS Millennium, hand-guided, no computer.

Basic meander or edge-to-edge simple pantographs start at .015 cents per square inch. Other edge-to-edge overall designs range from .02 to .03 cents per square inch.

Custom details such as feathers, stitch in ditch, custom borders range from .035 to .05 cents per square inch. Consultation is done with customers by appointment. Please call or e-mail for more information.

You may provide your own batting or batting is available for an additional charge. We carry Hobbs 80/20, Hobbs Wool, Quilter's Dream Cotton, Quilter's Dream Poly, and Legacy Bamboo. We use Superior Threads in our quilting service; solid color threads are included in our quilting prices. Variegated specialty threads are available for an additional charge.

A longarm quilter since 2002, I have taken the plunge to professionalize my business. New name – Quilts A La Carte – new home for my business, and an upgrade on my Gammill to a Statler Stitcher will make this new endeavor an exciting one. After opening up Cornerstone Quilt Shop in Orlando with my friend Judy back in 2005, I was hooked on the Statler Stitcher (the computer generated quilter) and could not wait to convert my manual Gammill to a Statler.

Now that dream has become a reality. I have been quilting in my new studio for a while now, and I have a long list of satisfied customers.
